Family Owned Serving Utah & Idaho Since 1974

At Hoggan Ranch, ranching runs deep in our family. My father, a true cattleman, was trusted to buy cattle at just 15 by his own father, and he's been raising award-winning cattle ever since.

For generations, we’ve upheld the values of working the land and caring for our animals like family—whether it’s our docile Angus cattle, the pet deer, or the other animals we raise. We believe that every cow we raise should produce the finest meat possible.

Our grass-fed Angus beef is more than just a product—it’s the result of a full commitment to quality. Whether you’re buying a quarter or a whole cow, we offer locally raised meat from a farm that values animal care and environmental stewardship.

We know that customers looking for premium bulk beef have many choices. That’s why we’re proud to provide an option that’s raised and butchered right here in Utah and Idaho. At Hoggan Ranch, we’re passionate about keeping the costs fair without sacrificing the care we put into every animal we raise.

100% Grass-Fed

All our cattle are 100% grass-fed, raised on pasture and fed a natural forage-based diet. At finishing, you can choose

  • Grain-Finished —means Cattle are grass-fed for most of their lives, then thoughtfully finished for about three months on a carefully balanced grain diet, selected at the right time to enhance marbling, tenderness, and create a richer, more traditional beef flavor.
  • Grass-Finished —means Cattle are grass-fed for an additional six months, raised with care and attention, then intentionally selected when they reach the right point—creating a clean flavor, leaner character, and a thoughtful approach to raising beef.

Hoggan Ranch: Premium Angus Beef Raised with Care

Hoggan Ranch is built on generations of ranching expertise and a deep love for the land, animals, and cows. Near our family farm in Utah, my father, I, and the entire family have dedicated our lives to raising premium grass-fed cattle and offering the best quality beef for sale. Whether you're looking to buy a cow, a half, quarter (1/4), or whole share, we’re here to serve.

At our local ranch, we raise Angus cattle the right way—free-range, pasture-raised, and ethically sourced. The beef is 100% grass raised, then either grain-finished for rich marbling or kept grass finished for a lean, nutrient-rich option. These finished meats are then butchered, cut, and wrapped locally in Utah, ensuring every customer receives fresh, tender meat they can trust.
