Summer Beef Update: Why More Families Are Filling Their Freezers

If you've noticed beef prices climbing at the grocery store, you're not alone.

Across the country, cattle and beef prices continue to rise, and many families are looking for ways to secure a reliable supply of high-quality beef while keeping food costs under control. One trend we've seen this summer is more families choosing to purchase beef in bulk and fill their freezers with locally raised beef.

As a result, demand has been stronger than usual, and our processing schedule is filling up quickly.

Current Processing Times

At the moment, customers should expect approximately 5–6 weeks from reservation to pickup.

While we'd love to shorten that timeline, we refuse to rush the process. Every animal is properly dry-aged and custom cut to ensure the quality, tenderness, and flavor our customers have come to expect.

We believe great beef is worth waiting for.

Why Families Are Buying Beef in Bulk

Many of our customers tell us they purchase quarter, half, or whole beef for three reasons:

  • Better value compared to purchasing individual cuts at the grocery store

  • Confidence in knowing where their food comes from

  • The convenience of having beef ready whenever they need it

Instead of making repeated trips to the store, families can simply walk to the freezer and pull out steaks, roasts, ground beef, or other cuts whenever they need them.

Summer Freezer Bundle Bonus

To help families stock their freezers with even more variety, we're currently offering a special freezer bundle bonus.

When you reserve a beef, you can also save:

  • $50 on a Half Pork

  • $100 on a Whole Pork

Adding pork is a great way to fill your freezer with bacon, pork chops, sausage, roasts, ham, and more while you're already planning your beef purchase.

Reserve Early

If you've been considering a quarter, half, or whole beef, we recommend reserving sooner rather than later. With processing times currently running 5–6 weeks, securing your spot now helps ensure your beef is ready when you need it.

Most importantly, thank you.

We appreciate every customer who chooses to support local agriculture and our family ranch. Your trust means everything to us, and we're honored to help feed your family.

If you have questions about beef, pork, processing times, or freezer space requirements, we'd be happy to help. Reach out anytime and we'll walk you through the process.

Thank you for supporting local ranching.
